Frankfort is a village in Ross County, Ohio located along the North Fork of Paint Creek. The village is located in Concord Township with a population of just over 1,000.
ORIGINALLY KNOWN AS OLDTOWN

The village was known as Oldtown, but was renamed Frankfort in 1834.

SUNFLOWER FESTIVAL

Frankfort is the home of the Sunflower Festival, a three-day event held annually on the last full weekend of July.

ADENA LOCAL SCHOOL SYSTEM

Frankfort is served by the Adena Local School System, a K-12 school that jointly serves Concord, Union, and Deerfield townships.
